Physical health · Sanctum
A folder thick with letters. Rheumatology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, cardiology, neurology, pain clinics. Years of appointments, each treating their own piece, and still no one able to tell you what connects it all.
When the brain and the body are wired by the same biology, the symptoms scatter across every system, and the medical world is built to see one system at a time. So each clinic treats its bit honestly and well, and the thread running through all of it is the one thing no single specialist is positioned to see.
This is often the clearest sign of all: not any one condition, but the sheer number of them, and the feeling that you have been everywhere and still not been understood as a whole person.
We look at the whole picture rather than one system at a time, because the pattern across the folder is often the answer. None of this is a diagnosis, and we are not here to replace your other doctors. It is what we explore with you.
