Stage 1 - Comprehensive Information Gathering
Patient Access- Initial Consultation
The journey begins with an initial consultation, where we take the time to understand your child's background, challenges and your concerns. This is an opportunity for you to share valuable insights that will guide the assessment process.
School/ College Collaboration
With your permission, we work with teachers and school pastoral staff to help gather information about your child behaviour in an educational setting. This collaboration helps us understand how ADHD may impact their academic performance.
Stage 2 - In-Depth Clinical Assessment
Clinical Interviews
Through clinical Interviews, our experts are able to determine the presence or absence of ADHD. Careful clinical consideration includes behavioural observation, child interactions in the environment to provide valuable information about attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity and social interactions.
Parental/ Guardian informed Assessments
We provide you with detailed questionnaires that help us gather information about your child's behaviours, symptoms, and history. Your input is crucial in forming a holistic understanding of your child's experiences.
Stage 3 - Expert Diagnosis and Recommendations
Diagnosis Discussion
We understand that receiving a positive or negative diagnosis is a unique and individual experience. A diagnosis discussion provides the opportunity to reflect and digest this transformational journey with your clinican.
