Our Assessment Process
Backed by clinical expertise and data-driven insight, our process examines all key areas that affect attention and wellbeing, from focus and impulsivity to sleep and stress.
Book your appointment directly online or reach out to our team for support. Once you’ve chosen a convenient time, you’ll receive a brief pre-assessment questionnaire so we can better understand your background, daily habits, and key challenges before your session.
Your assessment is conducted by a specialist ADHD psychiatrist using the DIVA-5, the internationally recognised gold-standard diagnostic interview. Over approximately 90–120 minutes, we examine your development, behaviours, and the real-life impact of ADHD traits such as inattention, impulsivity, and emotional regulation.
What makes us different is our whole-brain approach: we also consider factors such as sleep, stress, hormones, and mood to build a complete picture of your experience. This ensures every diagnosis is accurate, personalised, and grounded in real-world context.
After your assessment, our multi-disciplinary team — including psychiatrists, psychologists, and ADHD specialists — carefully review your case. They consider your full results and explore any related factors, such as anxiety or autism, to ensure an accurate and meaningful diagnosis.
You’ll then receive a comprehensive written report outlining your strengths, challenges, and personalised recommendations. In your feedback session, your clinician will walk you through the findings, answer questions, and discuss tailored next steps.
If ADHD is diagnosed, we’ll work with you to create a personalised treatment plan built around your needs and lifestyle.
Our clinicians work collaboratively with you to build a personalised, whole-brain treatment plan that reflects your goals, lifestyle, and wider health profile.
Your plan may include:
- Medication options — evidence-based, NICE-aligned prescribing with careful titration and shared-care support.
- Therapeutic and behavioural strategies — including ADHD coaching, CBT, and practical tools for focus, organisation, and emotional regulation.
- Sleep and stress optimisation — addressing the physiological factors that influence attention and energy.
- Digital monitoring — optional wearable technology to track sleep, stress, mood, and focus patterns, helping us fine-tune your care in real time.

Our Approach to Diagnosing ADHD
Our approach looks at ADHD as something shaped by many parts of your life, not just attention or focus. We explore how your sleep, stress levels, hormones, emotions and daily habits interact with your ADHD, because each of these can influence how you think and feel.
Why do we look beyond the symptoms?
ADHD rarely exists in isolation. For some people, poor sleep can make concentration almost impossible. For others, stress or hormonal changes can intensify impulsive moments, emotional swings or sensory overwhelm. When we understand these wider influences, the full picture becomes clearer and far more accurate.
How does this help you?
By bringing all of these factors together, we can explain why certain patterns keep happening and what’s driving them beneath the surface. This gives you a more grounded understanding of your mind, and lets us create a plan that actually fits your real life; not a generic checklist.
What makes this different?
Most clinics look at ADHD through a narrow lens, focusing only on behaviour or self-reported symptoms. Our whole-brain, whole-body approach recognises that ADHD is deeply connected to your internal world; your emotions, your routines, your biology and your environment. This allows us to identify what truly supports you, and what holds you back, with far greater accuracy and compassion.
