Physical health · Sanctum
Heavy or very painful periods, severe cramps, perhaps a diagnosis of endometriosis or PCOS, and a cycle that brings far more than its share of pain and disruption.
This heavier gynaecological load shows up markedly more often in neurodivergent women, part of the same constellation that links the brain, the connective tissue, the immune system and the hormones. The reproductive symptoms are not separate from the rest, they are another expression of the same underlying biology.
Because gynaecology, pain and the brain are treated in separate places, the pattern across them is missed, and women spend years having each piece managed alone, without anyone seeing the whole.
We look at the gynaecological picture as part of the whole, because for many women it is woven through everything else. None of this is a diagnosis, and we are not here to replace your other doctors. It is what we explore with you.
