Recurrent headaches or migraines, sometimes set off by noise, light, tiredness or a busy day, sometimes tracking the menstrual cycle, often just there more than they should be.
Migraine and frequent headaches turn up more often in neurodivergent people, and they tend to share triggers with everything else, sensory overload, stress, poor sleep, hormonal shifts. The headache is frequently the body registering a load the rest of the system is already carrying.
Because headaches are common, they get treated as their own isolated problem, and their place in the wider pattern, the sensory sensitivity, the stress, the hormones, goes unrecognised.
We look at headaches in the context of the whole picture, because what sets them off often connects to everything else. None of this is a diagnosis, and we are not here to replace your other doctors. It is what we explore with you.
