The brain that built it.
For the senior leaders whose neurotype produced the success they are now quietly paying the cost of. Direct, and written for people who treat themselves as the most leveraged asset in their portfolio, then forget to maintain it.
The asset you never maintained.
The same wiring that let you see what others missed, tolerate risk they could not, work at an intensity that looked superhuman and build something from nothing, is a specific neurotype. It is also one that comes with a maintenance schedule you have almost certainly ignored, because the wins kept arriving and the cost stayed invisible, paid quietly in sleep, in health, in the relationships that thinned while you scaled.
You diligence everything else. This is the diligence you skipped.
The founder’s paradox.
Your strengths and your problems are the same trait, viewed from different sides. The hyperfocus that ships the product is the hyperfocus that misses the family dinner. The risk appetite that founded the company is the risk appetite that does not see the personal cliff edge. The restlessness that drives growth is the restlessness that cannot sit with what you have built. You cannot simply remove the downside without touching the engine, but you can understand it, instrument it, and build around it.
What the wins have hidden.
Success is the perfect camouflage. Because the results are extraordinary, no one, including you, audits the inputs. The all-nighters, the regulation through work and stimulation, the executive-function gaps papered over by a team and an assistant and money, the emotional dysregulation rebranded as intensity or standards. The pattern has been there the whole time. The scoreboard simply hid it.
The body, in pre-clinical territory.
Look honestly at the markers. The blood pressure, the resting heart rate, the visceral fat, the sleep debt, the alcohol you would flag instantly in someone you were investing in. For a neurotype that already carries elevated cardiometabolic risk, two decades of this is not a lifestyle footnote; it is the most underpriced risk in your life. It is also, of everything here, the most modifiable, and the place a serious assessment starts.
The relationship that thinned while you scaled.
The marriage did not blow up. It thinned, the way these things do, across years of you being present and absent at once, the company always running in the background. The same is true of the friendships outside work, and of the relationship with your own children. None of it is irretrievable. All of it responds to the same thing: understanding the wiring, and choosing, deliberately, to apply some of your formidable capacity to the parts of life you have been outsourcing or ignoring.
The succession question.
At some point the organisation has to be able to run without you, and the same neurotype that makes you indispensable makes letting go genuinely hard. The founder who cannot delegate, who is the single point of failure, who has built a company that is in truth a life-support system for their own dysregulation, is a known and serious risk. Understanding your wiring is not a soft, personal exercise here. It is governance.
The private team you have not built.
You have advisors for the company and almost certainly nothing serious for yourself. A proper assessment, a clinician who understands this neurotype rather than a generic wellness offering, the medical, psychological and lifestyle inputs treated with the same rigour you apply to a deal. You would never run the business this under-resourced on its core asset. You have been doing exactly that with the one that matters most.
Treated with the rigour you apply to everything else.
Our assessment is built for exactly this: a detailed, whole-system evaluation of the brain and body, the cognitive profile, the cardiometabolic picture, sleep, regulation and the trajectory, with recommendations you can actually act on. It is not a wellness retreat. It is the diligence on the asset you have been neglecting, done properly, and held in confidence.
