We take time to understand how your brain and body work together, so we can give you answers that make sense and a plan that actually helps you feel better.
At Sanctum, we don’t just diagnose ADHD — we help you understand how your brain really works.
Our Brain Health Pathway looks at everything that can shape focus, energy, and emotions — from sleep and stress to hormones, mood, and lifestyle. By connecting the dots between your mind and body, we uncover the why behind your challenges and build a plan that truly fits you.
Every assessment is led by specialist clinicians who genuinely get ADHD — many through personal experience. They combine medical expertise with compassion, giving you clarity, confidence, and ongoing support beyond the diagnosis.
We believe great care should feel personal, not clinical. That’s why our service is designed around you — easy to access, fast to book, and delivered with empathy and understanding every step of the way.
Backed by clinical expertise and data-driven insight, our process examines all key areas that affect attention and wellbeing, from focus and impulsivity to sleep and stress.
Book your appointment directly online or reach out to our team for support. Once you’ve chosen a convenient time, you’ll receive a brief pre-assessment questionnaire so we can better understand your background, daily habits, and key challenges before your session.
Your assessment is conducted by a specialist ADHD psychiatrist using the DIVA-5, the internationally recognised gold-standard diagnostic interview. Over approximately 90–120 minutes, we examine your development, behaviours, and the real-life impact of ADHD traits such as inattention, impulsivity, and emotional regulation.
What makes us different is our whole-brain approach: we also consider factors such as sleep, stress, hormones, and mood to build a complete picture of your experience. This ensures every diagnosis is accurate, personalised, and grounded in real-world context.
After your assessment, our multi-disciplinary team — including psychiatrists, psychologists, and ADHD specialists — carefully review your case. They consider your full results and explore any related factors, such as anxiety or autism, to ensure an accurate and meaningful diagnosis.
You’ll then receive a comprehensive written report outlining your strengths, challenges, and personalised recommendations. In your feedback session, your clinician will walk you through the findings, answer questions, and discuss tailored next steps.
If ADHD is diagnosed, we’ll work with you to create a personalised treatment plan built around your needs and lifestyle.
Our clinicians work collaboratively with you to build a personalised, whole-brain treatment plan that reflects your goals, lifestyle, and wider health profile.
Your plan may include:

Many adults go through life sensing they’re different, whether socially, emotionally, or mentally, but never quite understanding why. You may have spent years adapting, masking, or feeling misunderstood.
Below, we’ve outlined some of the most common traits of ADHD in adults. Take a look and see what resonates with you:
People with ADHD often find it difficult to balance what is of interest to them vs what is important. They are driven by novelty, reward, urgency and deadlines, often being able to hyperfocus but when given a task of less interest will often struggle to pay attention.
Impulsive behaviour can manifest as making hasty decisions without thinking through consequences, interrupting conversations, oversharing or struggling to wait their turn. It can render you more liable towards being more open to new experiences, which others can often take advantage of.
Hyperactivity may translate to an inner feeling of restlessness, not being able to enjoy the moment and overthinking. This internal agitation can affect sleep and overall well-being. It is often confused for anxiety.
ADHDers may struggle with initiating tasks and may procrastinate on activities that require sustained attention and struggle to finish tasks too unless there is a meaningful deadline or consequence.
Past: Fallen behind with everything
Present: Disorganised, running late for everything
Future: Lack forward planning, no prioritising
Perfectionism, social anxiety and avoidance are common place often being mistaken or overlapping with autistic traits.
Emotional sensitivity and mood swings are common, with feelings of frustration, irritability, and impatience often surfacing. Sensitivity to perceived criticism can be a headline feature which is often the driving force behind ADHD.
ADHD is commonly seen alongside physical health symptoms such as hypermobility, gut health issues, feeling dizzy on standing, dysautonomia, and symptoms of histamine excess such as endometriosis, headache, skin issues amongst others.
A large majority of people with ADHD have sleep difficulties, invariably due to their propensity to overthink due to their hyperactive mind. Couple with revenge sleep procrastination, poor sleep conversely makes ADHD symptoms worse the following day.
